Jansz Brut Late Disgorged 2011
An exceptional example of Tasmanian method traditional sparkling. Richness comes from a blend dominated by Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, freshness comes from Chardonnay with texture and intrigue from an extended rest on lees. Complex aromas of sea spray, brioche and truffle that follow on to the palate with flavours of caramelised pears, honey and roasted hazelnuts.
Best enjoyed with a semi-hard cheese like Comté
