Meet Isidoro, Plaster Maestro

By King & Godfree Thursday April 6, 2017 See More —

It’s a fact: Italians do it best.

Which is why we’ve got the master Isidoro from Rome applying a traditional Italian “intonaco” finish to the walls upstairs.

You can see him prepping the office walls (above photo) with a solid cement render. When that dries, he’ll apply a smooth plaster finish by hand. The result is incredible – it has a silky smooth, almost marbled finish that you wouldn’t believe is done by hand.

There aren’t many guys in Australia who are skilled up in this style of European rendering. We’re excited to show you the finished product soon.
